Biography

Mark Bivens is a Silicon Valley native and former entrepreneur, having founded three startups before becoming a venture capitalist. He has spent his past 20 years as a VC, 15 in Europe and 5 years in Japan, with a career investment IRR exceeding 150% annually. Mark's first VC fund in Japan has distributed 3.5x cash returns in four years. Mark earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University, as well as an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. His hobby is competing in triathlons, where he often finishes in last place.
