Biography

From 1998, he worked at IBM developing core banking systems for megabanks and providing consulting services to financial institutions. After working at Microsoft, he joined MUFG's innovation unit and led the series of DX project. His main activities include the Fintech Challenge, MUFG Digital Accelerator, Open API, and MUFG Coin. After that, he joined AU Financial Holdings as an Executive Officer and Chief Digital Officer, leading the development of financial super apps. Currently, he is back at Microsoft and involved in DX promotion for financial institutions. He established a general incorporated association, FINOVATORS, to support fintech companies, and has been a board member of the Japan Blockchain Association since 2021. He is a graduate of Doshisha University and completed the 17th term of Tokyo University EMP.
