Biography

Justin Waldron is the Co-Founder and President of Playco. Playco is the world’s first instant gaming company, whose mission is to bring the world closer together through play. Playco partners with leading social and communications platforms to create innovative game experiences for players, including the global hit EverWing on Facebook, Sway Stories on TikTok and the smash hit Heads Up!, created in partnership with Ellen Digital for Zoom. Playco recently completed a $100 million Series A. He’s an active angel investor in 60+ companies and previously co-founded Zynga. Zynga pioneered the social and mobile game industries and held an IPO (NASDAQ: ZNGA) in 2011 with a $10 billion valuation. It was the largest IPO since Google (2004) and the fastest-growing revenue of any internet company in history at the time, reaching $1 billion in annual revenue in just 4 years after its founding. Justin left Zynga in 2013 to focus on investing at the seed stage in companies such as Lambda School, Substack, and 60+ others. He mentors young entrepreneurs at The Thiel Foundation’s Thiel Fellowship program. He was named as one of the top 100 seed investors by Business Insider in 2021.
