1992年4月（当時）通産省入省。2011年10月原子力損害賠償支援機構執行役員、2012年8月日本貿易振興機構ニューヨーク事務所産業調査員、2015年7月大臣官房参事官、2016年6月資源エネルギー庁長官官房総合政策課長、2017年7月商務情報政策局情報産業課長、2018年７月大臣官房審議官（商務情報政策局担当）などを経て、2019年7月より現職。
