Biography

Recruit Co. Ltd, - Senior Expert, Product Mangement Div. since last July. Before the current position, he was Assistant Commissioner, Innovation and Sustainable Finance at Japan Financial Services Agency, JFSA. He has also taken the position of Director of FinTech Innovation Office from 2018-2020. He launched the FinTech Innovation Hub in JFSA and extended the “Blockchain Round-Table” [BCRT] . He is an initial contributor of “BGIN" [Blockchain Governance Initiative Network], which creates an open, neutral platform for multi-stakeholder dialogues among academia, developer, business, civial society and regulator etc. He also has the role of non-inhouse advisor at MS&AD since September. He started his career at Export-Import Bank of Japan in 1999.
